Math Night is Tomorrow!
The Grade 3 students have been sewing cute koalas to sell at Math Night. The purpose of this is to engage in an act that demonstrates global citizenship. In response to the trauma experienced by the wildlife in Australia due to the bush fires, students have undertaken to raise funds to assist those who are helping to rescue and rehabilitate animals. Our student organization is called Koalas for a Kause.
Many students have expressed a desire to purchase one of the koalas that they have made. They will be sold for $3.50 each at Math Night, so if your child would like to purchase one, he or she can bring money to school tomorrow for this purpose.
Below is a schedule showing times that students will be helping to sell koalas. Please click on the link to sign up to help. There are still 20-minute time slots available. Thank you for your support!
