We practiced our subtraction skills and mental math while playing Farkle today. Maybe you would like to play it at home.
Koalas for a Kause
This past week students were busy finishing koala and kangaroo art. Many students also practiced their sewing skills by making little koalas to sell at Math Night. They had to learn how to do a "blanket stitch". The koalas were quite popular and many were sold, including all forty of the DIY kits that were available. All proceeds are going to the World Wildlife Fund to support the animals in Australia who have been affected by the fires. We hope to sell the remaining koalas to staff and students next week. They cost $3.50 each.

- A banana carrier
- A pencil holder
- A stand to display a trophy
